Trends come and go but beauty lessons and rituals you learn along the way lasts forever.  I have learned some valuable beauty lesson over the years and the learning never stops.  Some lessons were learnt through trial and error and others passed down from my mom, family, friends, YouTubers, makeup artists and other beauties just like you.  Today I wanted to share a few lessons I’ve learned along my journey and pass this knowledge on to you.

Beauty comes from the inside.

Water Water Water.

Always put your best face forward.

Don’t rely on just makeup to make you beautiful.

Every rule is meant to be broken.

Keep it simple.

Never go to bed with makeup on, EVER.

Moisturize  Moisturize  Moisturize.

RED lips are everything.

Invest in quality products and ingredients.

Being healthy on the inside will show on the outside.

Less is more.

Create a daily routine that works for you and stick to it.

Oil doesn’t beget more oil.

You don’t need to follow every trend.

Practice makes perfect.

Blush adds life back to your face.

Mascara is everything and MANDATORY.

Wear BOLD colors.

Use natural ingredients on your skin when you can.

Research is key.

Over plucking your brows will cost you in the long run.

All beauty products have an expiry date, clean out your stash regularly.

Diversify your beauty products, don’t get tied to one brand.

Don’t be afraid of drug store brands you can find some gems.

Getting all dolled up can make you feel like a million bucks!

Don’t be afraid to try and experiment.

Wearing  your favorite scent can make you more attractive.
