Black Tea Hair Rinses

Hey Loves,  Have you ever had a hair shedding problem, where your hair is coming out in clumps???   Well my hair went through a shedding problem not too long ago!!!!  I know this because it was coming out from the roots with that bulb thingy at the end. Why was this happening?? And what should i do about it??? I believe the reason my hair was shedding was due to STRESS. Stress from my job…or more specifically the people I was working closely with.  I mean atleast it isn't breaking off but the shedding was getting increasingly worst and I was panicking  and afraid to comb my hair. So I did a bit of research, read many posts and watched some online vids and found one way to help minimize hair shedding is to do black tea rinses.  So I decided to try it out and see what happens.  Miraculously,  Black Tea Hair Rinses did decrease the amount of hair I was shedding. black-tea-rinse-in-post

Black Tea is not only good for the health of your body, but its great for the health of your hair. So on my first try (i've done it a couple of more times since then) the black tea rinse left my hair really soft and shiny, and the hairs I shed were super minimal, I was so surprised.

Benefits of Black Tea Rinses on your hair: -Black tea contains more caffeine that blocks DHT, the hormone that is responsible for hair loss. -Reduces shedding. -Adds shine and softens hair. -Darkens hair or brings out natural highlights.   Rinse instructions: Add 2-4 tea bags to 2 cups of boiled water ( this may vary depending on how much hair you have), let it steep for a few hours or over night. Take the tea and pour on your hair after it has been shampooed, let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Then make sure you deep condition your hair after it has sat for 20-30 minutes adding the deep conditioner on top of your rinse. *Warning: If you try this over a sink pls note that black tea stains so be sure to wear an old shirt or something you don’t mind staining.

" username="natoyaammon"]     Things I noticed while doing the Black Tea Rinses: -There was a decrease in the amount of shed hairs I had each week -Applying the rinse with a hair application bottle is a lot easier than pouring a bowl of tea over my head   I must say that i am glad that i tried the black tea rinses on my hair as it gives my a bit of break from stressing out over the shedding hair.   Over to you!  Do you experience hair shedding?  What have you tried to prevent or lessen the shedding?  Have you ever tried a black tea rinse on your hair?

  1. Wow, I’ve never heard of this one before. My hair doesn’t shed from the roots, but I do have a problem with breakage and split ends. I wonder if black tea will help with that- I should try. Thanks for the idea!
